“Apparently, we were amongst the first to install Jacqui and Nadyne’s excellent PVC doors and windows from FINSTRAL. They’re not cheap but they’re worth every penny: it was a totally painless experience getting an estimate and they were fitted without any fuss or bother.
They’ve worked perfectly since: our Xaghra flat faces dead west and is on the cliff-edge, so we get the prevailing wind howling right at us. When the doors are properly closed, we hear nothing and not a draught gets through. The insulation properties are great, the heat is kept out in summer and the cold in winter.
The only snag is that I can’t hear the rain, which I love.
Would I recommend them? Always.”
